Corenet 2022
For ISS’s inaugural booth appearance at the CoreNet Global North American Summit in Chicago, the space was intentionally designed as a 360-degree experience, embodying the purest distillation of the refreshed ISS brand for the North American market. The booth served as both a functional environment and a strategic opportunity to fill the gap left by the company’s limited physical office spaces in the region, providing a tangible, immersive experience of the ISS brand.
-
Engaging From Every Angle: The booth was open and airy, with access from all sides, creating a welcoming environment that encouraged exploration. The design allowed for breathing room, avoiding the enclosed, “stuffy” feel of typical tradeshow booths. Visitors could enter freely yet feel distinctly within the ISS space once inside.
Dynamic Entry Points: Whether entering from the front, where a Workplace Host guided visitors through curated activations, or the back, where guests could privately explore interactive iPads, the booth encouraged interaction at every touchpoint.
-
Digital Visualizers: Large, visualizer-style videos and interactive iPads showcased ISS’s core areas of expertise, teasing key offerings like workplace services, sustainability, and integrated facilities solutions.
Brand Awareness: These digital elements worked to engage passersby, driving initial interest while setting the stage for deeper conversations inside the booth.
-
Office-Inspired Layout: The interior design mimicked the welcoming, communal areas of a contemporary workplace, with features such as:
A conference-style table for in-depth discussions.
A comfortable seating area, styled like a modern lobby, for relaxed, engaging conversations.
Priority Board Activation: A magnetic board encouraged participants to force-rank topics like sustainability, wellness, and real estate strategy. This conversational tool revealed insights into attendees’ priorities while driving meaningful dialogue.
Gumball Machine Giveaway: An unconventional swag dispenser encouraged interaction with the Workplace Host. This playful activation sparked curiosity and incentivized guests to enter the booth, facilitating organic conversations.
Impact
By transforming a tradeshow booth into an intentional, experiential environment, ISS made a lasting impression at CoreNet 2022. The open, engaging layout combined with innovative activations and thoughtful branding reinforced ISS’s position as a forward-thinking leader in the integrated facilities and workplace services industry.
Strategic Brand Representation
The booth not only introduced ISS to a highly visible, industry-forward audience, but it also provided a tangible representation of the company’s workplace expertise in a market where physical office spaces are limited. This thoughtful design filled a critical gap, demonstrating ISS’s ability to create hospitality-driven, human-centric spaces that reflect its values and services.
